HOLIDAY DANCE SPECTACULAR!
The holiday performance is a children's version of Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular and includes guest performers! !
The Holiday Dance Spectacular includes both beloved classical Nutcracker
pieces as well as jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, spiritual, and lyrical dances
complete with large kick lines!
Rather than profit from this holiday performance or donate a portion to charity,
Dance City and the Arts will once again donate all proceeds to the Southington
Social Services and Salvation Army. The event is sponsored by the Parks and
Recreation Department, The Southington Arts Council, and the Calvanese Foundation
as part of the Kids Entertainment Series.
Parents and grandparents have commented, "It just wouldn't be Christmas
without seeing the show!" Director Sheila Simone's philosophy is, "Giving
back to the community is important so that families in need can enjoy the
season as well!"
