Music and characters from The Nutcracker are introduced.

This proven dance method includes story-lined lesson plans and creative use of props for visual interest. Encourages creative life-long learning. Listening skills, rhythm, balance movement, props and visual cues are used as well as the acrobatic circuit. Custom dance training caters to fit the preschool dancer. Music and characters from The Nutcracker are taught at a higher level.
These classes are designed to deliver professional instruction for Tap, Jazz and Acrobatics or Ballet, Tap and Acrobatics. Dance positions, steps and proper learning fundamentals will be taught in a fun and playful manner. Age appropriate material and the use of new teaching concepts enrich your child's process of lifelong learning.

Up-to-date Funky Street Rhythm and Showy Broadway, Buck and Wing styles are professionally taught. Traveling sequences and exciting combinations inspire the joy of dance and performance.
Both the popular upbeat form of contemporary sharp movements and interesting choreographic floor patterns are taught, as well as a variety of famous Broadway, Jazz and Funk styles including turns, kicks, jumps and leaps with professional technique. One ballet class is required per week for advanced levels.
A fun and exciting form of dance combining street dancing and isolation funk techniques. Classes are taught using the most popular music. Hip-Hop is a part of our culture and students love it! Age 6 and up. High ethical standards are employed by avoiding explicit lyrics, costumes and inappropriate movements.
We also offer "Boys Only" Hip-Hop.
Lyrical Jazz is an elegant combination of Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary styles performed with interpretation of song lyrics or a story idea and the use of emotional execution. Students are required to be enrolled in one ballet class. Age 8 and up.
A form of dance performance, tumbling skills, aerials, balancing and stretching skills will all be taught. Partnering and lifts are also part of the fun which is choreographed for the year end performance.
Each dance position, sequence, exercise and combination will be taught with correct technique to form a solid foundation for the student. Benefits include grace, elegance, poise, coordination, strength, confidence, and joy. Ballet is the foundation for all dance forms, therefore the most important to enhance all other dance styles.
Demi Pointe, a pre-requisite for Pointe, is offered for intermediate students ages 9 & up to develop the strength and technique required for Pointe. Demi Pointe is a conditioning class and does not perform in the recital. To qualify for the Pointe class, students must be at the intermediate or advanced levels and obtain the director's approval. Pointe is an extension of training and an essential element of the classical ballet technique for ages 10 & up. At least one ballet class per week is required.
Musical Theater Academy

Class focuses on three aspects of performance: drama, dance and vocal workshops. Learn the basics of vocal warm-ups, tone and ear-training for students to sing correctly. We focus on presentation, skits, plays and monologues for students to get comfortable with both solo work and group production. For ages 5-11, 7-11 and 12-18 and up.

Production Dance Number
The production number is an excellent performance opportunity for responsible students who wish to excel. This experience is designed to be a pleasant opportunity for goal setting and personal achievement through a variety of dance styles, as well as greatly improving stage presentation and developing team spirit. The students will learn an exciting full-length dance company piece using choreographic techniques, formations and lifts. This will be our closing number for both year end performances. Students are required to be at an intermediate level and must be enrolled in at least three other dance classes. This class is held from February through June. This has proven to be a very popular class. Students are often invited for additional future event performances. The $57.00 fee includes all classes.
Contemporary Modern Dance
Contemporary modern dance is one of two concert stage dance forms. This class teaches parallel and natural body mechanics and uses the spirit to explore expression without boundaries. All body types are welcome in this form of artistry. Stretch, strength, style and improvisation are taught. Choreography is conceptual. Modern dance is recommended for anyone choosing to continue dance in college. Ages 10 to 13 and ages 14 to adult. Intermediate to advanced. Ballet experience helpful, but not required.
