Sheila Simone, Director of Dance City and the Arts

The director, Sheila Simone, is a Certified Professional Member of Dance Masters of America #18 Dance Teachers Club of Connecticut and a former Dance Company Member and studio owner. Sheila currently serves as President of Dance Masters of America #18. Dance City and The Arts' students continue to receive numerous scholarships and awards for choreography and technique. Our studio is devoted to bringing quality, updated material in a fun, appropriate manner, to our students. Dance City and the Arts has been awarded “America's Top Performing Arts Education Center in Connecticut”, the “Children's Empowerment Award” from Kid’s Day America International and “Best Dance Studio” in Southington by The Southington Observer readers.

Dance City & The Arts, LLC Professional Staff

Our highly qualified staff includes dance company directors, dance team coaches, performers and dance company members who are university trained, certified and/or experienced in the production and direction of more than 25 musicals including vocal performances at Carnegie Hall and Dublin, Ireland. Our staff is dedicated to enriching all students – whether recreational or serious – in a fun and professional atmosphere, thus receiving the Children's Empowerment Award and voted Best Dance Studio.
